Problem #2: Your Targeting Is Too Broad
Toronto is a huge and diverse market.

A company serving customers in downtown Toronto does not necessarily need to spend money reaching someone in Brampton.

A business based in North York may not want to compete equally for every search across the GTA.

A local company may have very specific areas where its customers are most valuable.

Yet many PPC accounts are built around broad geographic targeting with very little refinement.

The result?

Advertising spend gets distributed across people the business may never realistically convert.

Location targeting should reflect how the business operates.

That could mean targeting specific cities, service areas, neighbourhoods, or geographic regions.

It can also mean adjusting the strategy based on where the best customers actually come from.

For Toronto businesses, local context matters.

A campaign should not simply add “Toronto” to an ad and call itself local PPC.

The targeting, messaging, landing pages, and campaign decisions should reflect the market the business is actually trying to serve.
